Paraguay doesn’t have many courses but it is home to eight courses, which are definitely worth traveling for. The Asunción Golf Club, in Asunción, is one of the country’s top rated courses. The course features 18 holes of golf, with 6,150 yards of play, at a par of 72. The course has a great bar and restaurant, with a clubhouse that you will find very relaxing. You will need to bring your own clubs though, because there are no rentals available.
Asuncion Golf Course
The Asunción Golf Club is a golf course within the city of Asunción, which consists of 47 fully landscaped acres.
It is located on the route Transchaco property adjacent to the Botanical Garden was founded in 1926 by a group of Englishmen who came to Paraguay for the expansion of the Central Railway.

Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
